Privacy Policy

The Fekra Production System ("the Platform") is an internal production-management tool operated by Fekra Filmz (a film & video production company based in the United Arab Emirates) for coordinating film and video productions with its crew, cast, and vendors. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

1. Who this applies to

The Platform is used by Fekra Filmz staff and by crew, cast, and vendors who are invited to a specific production. It is not a consumer product and is not open to the general public.

2. Information we collect

Contact & identity: name, phone number, email, nationality, and (where required for engagement or payment) Emirates ID.
Role information: the projects, departments, and roles you are assigned to.
Payment details: for crew/vendors who are paid, bank account / IBAN and agreed rate. This is visible only to authorised finance roles and is never shared with other crew.
Production content: scenes, call sheets, shot lists, tasks, and related notes you contribute.
Messages: WhatsApp and SMS messages exchanged with the Platform (e.g. login codes, invites, notifications, and assistant conversations).
Login & audit data: verification events and actions taken in the Platform, kept for security and accountability.

3. How we use it

To authenticate you (one-time codes sent by SMS).
To coordinate productions — call times, locations, schedules, tasks, and approvals.
To send you relevant notifications and invites over WhatsApp and SMS.
To process contracts and payments for engaged crew and vendors.
To provide an AI assistant that answers your production questions. Assistant messages are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate replies and are not used to train their models.

4. WhatsApp & SMS

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta) and an SMS provider (Twilio) to deliver login codes, invites, and production notifications, and to let you interact with our assistant. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's and Meta's own terms and privacy policies.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that operate the Platform on our behalf — Supabase (database/hosting), Vercel (hosting), Meta/WhatsApp and Twilio (messaging), and Anthropic (AI assistant) — strictly to provide the service. Financial details are restricted to authorised finance roles within Fekra Filmz.

6. Retention

We keep your information for as long as you are associated with our productions and as required for legal, accounting, and tax purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights & data deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To request deletion, email contact@fekrafilmz.ae from your registered email or send a message from your registered WhatsApp number with the word "DELETE". We will remove your personal data (excluding records we must retain for legal/accounting reasons) within 30 days and confirm by reply.
